Innovative paths toward fulfilling high coating quality standards when being an approved aerospace electroplating supplier


Houman Zarkesh, Quality Assurance Director at Ultraspec since 2015, is at the front-line of the aerospace sector and in particular the surface finishing sector. He ensures that the customers’ requirements are met, keeping the company's accreditation at higher level of the quality aspect.

In this interview, Mr. Zarkesh states that the plating process involves lots of parameters such as the plating time, and explains how there is no one-size-fits-all solution for addressing all complex aero-engineering challenges. For him, it is important to be able to adapt the process in an agile way.
