Elsyca enjoyed a succesful CEOCOR conference in Bruges, Belgium (May 26th-27th). Several papers from partners and customers referred to Elsyca's simulation technology, among which:
- Results of a new measurement philosophy within Gasunie (P.J. Stehouwer, K. Dijkstra – GASUNIE, The Netherlands)
- Effect of coating defect size, coating defect geometry and cathodic polarization on spread resistance: consequences in relation to AC corrosion monitoring (L. Nielsen, Metricorr, Denmark)
- Methods and experiences on DC-rail electrical interference (P.J. Stehouwer, K. Dijkstra – GASUNIE, The Netherlands)
Furthermore, the first results of a research study targeting the quantification of the AC corrosion phenomena by computer modeling were presented with the following paper:
- Development of a time dependant numerical model for the quantification of AC corrosion phenomena (Bart Van den Bossche, Leslie Bortels, Jacques Parlongue – Elsyca, Belgium. Markus Büchler – SGK, Switzerland)
Do not hesitate to contact us for more details regarding the presented papers as well as regarding the development of the next phases of the AC research project.
