A new research project has been approved by IWT, wherein Elsyca will execute the first stage in developing an innovative integrity management system for the corrosion protection of pipelines.
This system will be unique in the market and will exceed by far current techniques to pinpoint and manage the corrosion protection of buried pipelines.
The CP integrity management system to be developed will ultimately allow operators to make sound decisions wrt pipeline inspections, repair plans and preventive measures. It will be unique in its ability to provide unambiguous information on the structure-to-soil potential of the pipeline, and therefore on the level of corrosion protection.
