Defence R&D Canada took Elsyca’s simulation technology on board for conducting numerical modeling of shipboard impressed and sacrificial anode cathodic protection systems, underwater electric potential (UEP) signatures, corrosion related magnetic (CRM) signature, galvanic corrosion and stray current interactions.
The choice of Defence R&D Canada for Elsyca’s CPMaster software platform was obvious: all mandatory requirements with respect to the preprocessor, the mesh generator, the solver and the postprocessor of the software could easily be met. To name just a few:
- Import of CAD files in multiple formats (.stl, .sat, .igs, and .x_t)
- Grouping of geometry surfaces for easy set-up
- Resulting 3D potential and current density surface distributions that can be easily imported into 3rd party software such as Tecplot
